Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - FULL DAY KIGALI CITY TOUR

Your full-day Kigali city tour covers some of the most historical and cultural significant sites in the Rwandan capital. Visit Richard Kandt Museum, Kigali Genocide Memorial, Campaign Against Genocide Museum, Craft Market, Food Market, M. Hotel.

Day 2 - MUSANZE CAVES & WATERFALL

  • Leave Kigali 8 am and head to Musanze to explore Musanze caves which is one of the best attractions in Rwanda, Caves are generally cold and quiet on the inside with streams of water slowly flowing out of the rock ceiling and down the rocky walls to holes underneath the cave floor, after this experience take a break and relax with waterfall in afternoon, Enjoy swimming,.
  • Drive back to the hotel for evening stay.

Day 3 - GORILLA TREKK & CULTURE TOUR

Today after your early morning breakfast, at 6:00 am, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations for Mountain Gorilla tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these gentle giants.

The gorilla trek safari can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the gorilla to take as many pictures of your choice and later return from your trek, head for late lunch in one of the local restaurants.

After late lunch Discover Iby'iwacu Cultural Village to experience Rwandan traditional lifestyle where you will lean more about traditional weddings, medicine, dance; This is a life time experience that you will live to share.

Drive back to the hotel for a night stay

Day 4 - LAKE KIVU DISCOVERY & TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI

Leave hotel by 9 am and head to the Lake Kivu; the biggest lake in Rwanda and Gisenyi the city bordering Rwanda and DRC, Take a boat ride to the iconic islands, Explore the hot spring which are heated by geothermal heat from the Earth's interior In volcanic areas, water may come into contact with very hot rock heated by magma Enjoy the traditional massage from this place, then the lunch with fresh food like a fish direct from lake.

Pay a Visit to borders between Rwanda and DRC, Then drive back to Kigali for airport transfer or Hotel stay.
