15 Days Best of Rwanda with Gorilla Safari

Have breakfast from your Hotel or residence, after transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. En route visit the old King’s Palace in Nyanza. Lunch en-route, proceed to the Park. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Early morning breakfast, and after proceed to the park for Chimpanzee Tracking. You will enter into the forest early but you will be able to see primate species such as Columbus monkeys, forest birds and later, you will be able to see the chimpanzees in their natural environment.

Return for Lunch and then go for canopy walk in the forest. You will view most of the attractions up the canopies, like birds. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

Have breakfast, after with your packed lunch for a full day forest guided walk with in Nyungwe Forest National Park. On this long walk, you will encounter different attractions in the forest. Have your picnic lunch in the forest.

On this walk expect to see a lot of bird species and also primates like monkeys. Return back to your camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, head to Kibuye with Lunch en-route and after take a boat trip either Napoleon’s (it’s shaped like his hat) Island or Amahoro (Peace) Island, and monkey islands,. Return for dinner and overnight at Kibuye.

After breakfast, transfer to Gisenyi town on the Northern shores of Lake Kivu, go and visit the fishing villages around the town, the solid field lava from Nyiragongo Mountain that erupted in 2002 and also the hot springs/ night fishing activities.

Dinner and Overnight at your lodge/Hotel

After breakfast in the morning, there is a sightseeing of Gisenyi town by walking, visit borders between Congo and Rwanda and meet locals pupils. Return for a fascinating lunch. After lunch, transfer to Ruhengeri town. You will pass through magnificent views of the beautiful, hilly countryside which forms Rwanda’s name “a thousand hills”. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Have early morning breakfast, and transfer to volcanoes national park headquarters. Meet your ranger guides for briefing on how to behave while in the forest searching for the Gorillas and also will let you know more about their behaviors’ and ways of life before you set off.

After the briefing you will enter into the forest and search for these endangered rare mountain Gorilla species. This is a once a life adventure and an opportunity one should never miss in life. After 1 hour spent with the mountain gorillas, return to the camp for relaxation. Dinner and overnight.

Today have breakfast, and after experience Golden Monkey tracking in the Volcanoes National Park. These Golden Monkeys are the most endangered primates with in the forest.

They are nice to look at jumping around the tree tops. Enjoy their presence and then descend back,

Afternoon there is Iby’iwacu culture village from there you will learn more about Rwandan culture. Then Return to the hotel for dinner and Overnight.

For those with a medium or low physical condition in the morning after breakfast, hike up the Dian fossey grave, she was an American who loved gorillas and fought a lot against extinct. She was Killed inside her cabin at Mt karisoke. She was buried near her favorite gorilla digit. After return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

The ones with strong physical conditional ,Early in the morning, you will gather at the park headquarters where you will meet your hiking guides. After a short briefing from them, you will then start on your hike on Mountain Bisoke.

The hike to the top might take 3 or 4 hours depending on the strength and fitness of the hikers. Upon reaching the top, you will then descend back and transfer to your lodge for relaxation. Return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight.

Have a morning relax and depart for Akagera En-route lunch in kigali city then transfer to the park in afternoon reach there in evening and head to the hotel for relax and stay.

Early morning breakfast, and after take game drive in the park. Here you may spot variety of animals like Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, hyenas among others. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Ihema to encounter large herds of hippos, crocodiles and a lot of bird species along the lake shores/banks.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Have a relax morning breakfast, 9 am take game drive in the park from southern to the northern party. Here you may spot variety of animals like Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, hyenas among others. Depart for Kigali for dinner and overnight at your lodge in Kigali.

Take your time and relax at the hotel, after your lunch have an opportunity to the shoppings for souvenirs Rwandan hund’s clefts or other made in Rwanda Items, and transfer back to the hotel for evening stay.
