Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Half city Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes
You will be picked by our guide or company representative, from your hotel accommodation in Kigali or airport in case you arrive with morning flight and head for a half city tour to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Campaign Against Genocide Museum, Then take lunch in local restaurant before heading to Musanze, reaching Musanze afternoon time for hotel check in and enjoy 1 hour experience of Iby'Iwacu Cultural Village. Then head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - Gorilla Trek – Transfer back to Kigali.
Today after your early morning breakfast, at 6:00 am, you will be transferred to the park’s Headquarters Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations for Mountain Gorilla Tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these gentle giants.
The gorilla trek can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the gorilla to take as many pictures of your choice and later return from your trek, head for late lunch in one of the local restaurants, before hitting on the road to find way back to Kigali and dropped at your hotel or at the Kigali airport.
