Tour Details - Visit Burera and Ruhondo Lakes

As you pass along the Northern Province to reach Lake Ruhondo, you will enjoy the revitalizing views and landscapes of the Country of a Thousand Hills. When the sky is clear, enjoy lunch with the view of Muhabura Volcano.

06h30 – 07h00: Pick-up and leave Kigali by Universal Africa Safaris' Tour guide to drive 3 hours approx.
10h30-12h30: Reaching Lake Ruhondo, a boat will take you for a water trip around in the lake.
12h30-14h30: Back from the boat trip, enjoy a waterside lunch at My Hill Eco lodge in Ruhondo.
Head back to Kigali via Musanze town
14h30-18h00: Drive back to Kigali city.
Along the way in Musanze: Stop-over at Migano Cafe for leg stretching and a cup of coffee (or another drink).
Arrival in Kigali city around 18h30.
