Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Transfer to the Volcanoes National Park
Pick up from Cyanika Border and transfer to Volcanoes National Park, depend by the Time there is an option of Culture Tour in Iby'iwacu Culture Village. And head to the Hotel for a night stay.
Day 2 - Bisoke Hike
Hiking Mount Bisoke is an adventurous and exciting activity which is not restricted to experienced hikers. Hiking up to the summit takes 6 hours while coming down 2 or more depending on how frequently the hiking team stops for rest.
Seasoned mountain climbers can reach the summit in 3 hours. A Mount Bisoke hike is considered less demanding but hikers should be reasonably fit and prepare to deal with the thorny plants, stinging insects and muddy trails – especially during the rainy season.
The temperature/oxygen levels is one aspect hikers have to prepare to deal with. Temperatures can get so low and make the hike tiring hence requiring frequent stops.
Day 3 - Lake Kivu Adventure & Transfer to Kigali
Discover Lake Kivu the biggest lake in Rwanda and enjoy the Boat ride to the islands relax in this lake with it, hot springs Then afternoon transfer to Kigali for a night stay.
Day 4 - Kigali City Tour
Your full day Kigali city tour covers some of the most historically and culturally significant sites in the Rwandan capital. Enjoy the walk in Kigali car free zone. Visit Richard Kandt Museum , Kigali Genocide Memorial, Campaign against Genocide Museum, Craft Market, Food Market, M. Hotel
Day 5 - Akagera National Park Adventure
Akagera National Park has a diversity of wildlife including buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas and many others. After a long time being extinct in Akagera National Park, the black rhinos and lions have recently been restocked. Their sighting is always not guaranteed due to their small number and the hiding character of the black rhino. Enjoy the game drive viewing the natural habitat of different animals, birds and enjoying the view of different lakes and landscape. Spend a whole night there. And back to Kigali in Everning.
