3 Day Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  • 3 Days

    Description

This tour will pass through Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to several mammal and bird species, as well as the well-known Kazinga Channel, which is great for boat cruises. With African elephants, Cape Buffaloes, chimpanzees, hippos, leopards, and African elephants, Queen Elizabeth National Park is undoubtedly one of the world’s most bio-diversified animal refuges. Do not skip the stunning lunch cruise along Kazinga Channel, either.

    Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

First breakfast will be served at the hotel or your apartment, and then our driver will meet and greet you and give you an overview of the three-day Queen Elizabeth Tour. There will be several stops along the Masaka road, notably at the Uganda Equator. Here, you may experience what it's like to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and see firsthand how water swirls differently in each region. Take pictures and possibly purchase some exquisite mementos. Proceed directly to the lodge.

2 - Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise

    Itinerary Image

Early game drives in the morning provide us with an opportunity to see a variety of species, such as the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, and rhinos. Warthogs, hunchback carnival animals like hyenas, and many more species that call this park home can be seen more often in the evening as we travel around its circuits. A diverse range of birds can be seen, particularly our local version of storks in the wetland areas where we get to see the flamingos in the salt lakes at Kasenyi.
Savor a boat ride across the well-known 36-kilometer Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Here you can view the Nile crocodile, the National Geographic Society's killing machine, and yawning hippos that are adaptable to both land and water.

3 - Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

This morning, you'll go on chimps trekking in Kalinzu Forest. Enjoy the walk through the forest and the fascinating meeting with the chimpanzees. After the trek, embark on the drive back to Kampala with a stopover at equator and lunch in Masaka. Drive back through to Kampala as we have reached the end of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari tour in Uganda. Arrive Kampala or Entebbe in the evening.
