Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Dar es Saalam to Mikumi
Head out of Dar es Salaam around 12:00 am, accompanied by our tour guide, and travel for about 5 hours to reach Mikumi National Park. You will drive to Mikumi for an evening game drive after eating a nice meal at Morogoro Town.
During the drive, you may see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and other wildlife. We will later return you to your lodge so you may spend the night and have dinner.
Day 2 - Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains
Take a dawn game drive in Mikumi National Park with an early breakfast. Afterward, drive to Udzungwa National Park with a picnic lunch, where you will meet a guide and begin your hiking. Hikers are drawn to Udzungwa. The popular half-day walk to Sanje Waterfall, which drops 170 metres (550 feet) in a misty spray into the forested valley below, is part of an excellent network of forest trails. From there, a 180-degree vista of the Kilombero Valley is seen. After showing you around with our tour guide, return to your lodge for dinner and the night.
Day 3 - Game Drive in Mikumi
You will be in Mikumi National Park for the entire day today. After breakfast, have a full day game drive through Mikumi National Park to admire the stunning scenery and numerous wildlife, including lions, antelopes, elephants, and giraffes.
With extra time, our guides can take you to the park's interior areas to search for harder-to-spot wildlife. Later, make your way to your lodge where you will spend the night and have dinner.
Day 4 - Mikumi to Dar es Saalam
Early morning sunrise game drive and will lead you to see remarkable numbers of bird’s species and animals. You will also have the chance to see animals hunting in the park. Later you will be transfered back to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast. Later we will stop at Maasani boma on the way back to Dar es Salaam, stop at Morogoro town for your lunch proceeding to Dar es Salaam.
